Happy Birthday Jared

we celebrated Jared's 31st birthday by going to the Chicago Botanic Gardens on one of the first nice days of spring. we discovered that Josh didn't really like the prickliness of the grass, hence his unhappy face.
And then Jared got to make a birthday wish on a home made cake.

Josh's first Passover

We spent Passover this year at Aunt Fran's house.

Universal Studios

So in regards to the previous post, Sara was asked by a friend to go see the Ellen show. While waiting in line to get into the show, she was chosen out of the crowd to perhaps participate in a bit for the show. As you can see by the link, she was in fact chosen. Based on her hard work and wit for being on the show, she was awarded with an all inclusive trip to Orlando, Florida for two to go to Universal Studios and see a taping of the show there. Since her BF, Brett, wasn't able to attend, Cathy happily volunteered to go in his place. From what I hear, the two had a great time. And no need to worry, the house in Chicago did not burn down and no one was injured while Cathy was gone and just the boys ruled the house.
