Water Park

Mom...what are you wearing on your head? Josh, I could ask you what's going on with your sunscreen mohawk...

This past weekend was very HOT, so we decided to cool off by running in the sprinklers...fancy sprinklers. The spray and play at the buffalo grove park district is one of the many (cheap) reasons we like living in the suburbs.

the sprinklers come up out of the ground at seemingly random times...delighting young children.

Philadelphia 2010

Jared was back in Philadelphia last week for work, though he didn't miss the opportunity to stock up on Eagles and Phillie's gear for him and Joshua. We didn't do too much Philadelphia, but did enjoy catching up with some friends. Back at the hotel, we reminded Josh how to swim.

Then we drove out to New Jersey to meet baby Zachary at Cheesecake Factory. Jared and his cousin Robbie holding their sons.

PARTY!

We were very lucky to celebrate Josh's 1st birthday at our home. We lucked out with the weather and welcomed 57 men women and children to our house. We thank everyone who came to celebrate and share in our joy
