We invade Plano a few days before my Mary Kay seminar. Josh was caught red-handed playing the piano (a preview of what's to come?)
and we discovered he likes to eat plums!and we got a three generations pictureA Blog to keep up with the happenings of Jared, Cathy, Joshua and Caitlyn Silver.

Joshua Tree
We finally got a tree that will grow with Joshua bought and planted today. We picked a peach tree so maybe in a few years we'll have some fruit. Each year we plan to take a picture of Joshua on his birthday next to the tree, seeing how they each grow. Have a great week!
but first Joshua and Colin had to push the wagon at the park. Instead of riding in the wagon, they liked pushing it. Josh on the left looks like it's REAL hard work! It's so hard to get two children to look at you and smile at the same time....so this will have to do!Sunday, July 4, 2010
Happy 4th of July
We welcomed Bob, Becky and Addison over to our house for a barbeque. I never seem to get a good picture of Joshua, even Addy seems to be saying "Come on man, smile!"
I did catch this picture of Josh a bit later, as we were starting to get ready for bed, happily rocking in his chair. Josh helping Jared fix somethings around the house.

July 3rd
we had a busy 3rd of July, going to Gymboree in the morning. I know Josh looks a bit apprehensive, but he did ask to go down the tube slide more than once, so I know he liked it.
celebrating Colin's first birthday. Colin is a friend Josh made at day care and is only a month or so younger than Josh. We were happy to celebrate with him and his family

make a mess eating cupcakes
and a great time chasing and finally catching their dog Misty so Josh could gently pet her.
and watching fireworks on Payton's Hill Not only did we see Arlington Heights', but because we were up higher, we saw about 20 other towns' fireworks on the horizon. You could say we were surrounded by fireworks. We'll definitely go next year, Josh can stay up later and come with us too.
