10th Wedding Anniversary

for our 10th wedding anniversary, we returned for a night at the Marriott Lincolnshire, where we got married!

Shrimp cocktail at dinner.  Eddie Merlot's!  a 2.5 hour meal, sans kids!

And brunch the next morning at Walker Brothers...I didn't want to come back to "normal" life.  A big THANK YOU to my parents who watched Caitlyn and Josh over night.

Fun Family Friday Night: Football game!

We checked out the BGHS (freshman) football game against Barrington.  A fun FREE family fun night!  the kids didn't care who was playing or winning, it was just fun to eat popcorn!

Surprise visit to Indy

Jared's parents and sister had a wedding outside Muncie, and were staying in Indianapolis for the weekend.  At 1130 Friday morning I suggested we drive down and surprise them.  We made the hotel reservations and as soon as Caitlyn woke up from her nap, we were off.  We did hit rush hour traffic through Chicago, have a time change, and stopped for dinner, so it was 10pm when we walked in, but they were pleasantly surprised we showed up.

She cried when I left but was fine a few minutes later and happy to see me 4 hours later when I picked her up.
