The Park District held a free event, so we checked it out!

 Candy hunt was fun!

 And there was a train ride.

I think the plan for this Easter Sunday was to grab some food and have picnic lunch before flying kites.  Everything was closed, and we had to settle for McDonalds but the weather was BEAUTIFUL!

Some other people were having a party and this minion pinata was just Caitlyn's size!

 My dad was able to catch a bunch of great shots of us.

We had both kites flying pretty high.  The fun stopped when Caitlyn got a hold of the one and let go, and the kite just took off!  Fun done.

Happy Birthday Jared, Go Phillies!

In honor of Jared's 35th birthday, and since the Phillies were in town playing the cubs, we went to the game*.  Too bad the Phillies couldn't sweep.

This is the picture Howard actually took when he was trying to take the one above...looking at it now, something tells me he knew what he was doing all along!

*a rooftop actually.  Lakeview Baseball Club was very classy, they brought the food to you!
