Happy Birthday Papa Ben!

Since Papa Ben and Mimi were in town to meet Caitlyn, and were going to be leaving just before his birthday, we indulged him in a wonderful cake from Deerfields.  My parents also came over to celebrate.

Josh got a marble race game for the holidays.  This day, Jared and he had built the tower so high, Josh needed a step stool to keep adding pieces.

Introducing Caitlyn Felicity

Caitlyn Felicity was born on January 10, 2012 at 7:53am.  She weighed 8.03 pounds and was 20.5 inches long.

Papa Robert and Gaga brought big brother Josh to the hospital to meet her.

Fun Zone

before we got outside to play in the beautiful SPRINGLIKE weather, Josh and I joined some friends at the Fun Zone...a couple of inflatable bounce houses.  We've been to this before  a couple times  and even the Jump Zone has one like this.  but this is the first time I was able to capture a picture of Josh going up and down...he's usually so fast!

Happy New Year

we kept new years low key this year...Josh loved the cookie cake and noise makers I picked up last minute.

Museum of Science and Industry

We went downtown today to check out the museum of science and industry, and apparently all the families in Chicago...I couldn't believe how many people were in line even as we were leaving...I guess that's what happens during the week when everyone is out of school/work.
