Goodbye 925 Saunders

So, today my parents move out of the house that my brother, sister and I grew up in. Though I haven’t really lived there for more than 10 years, and certainly consider our new house my home, I can’t imagine my parents living anywhere else. I know they are grateful it finally sold and are looking forward to the future. We had some great family dinners in the dining room and birthday parties in the basement. Plus, it was the first room I got to decorate, blue’s my favorite color! As we were packing up, there were many little things you don’t really remember that showed up, like the San Francisco trolley my mom kept pens in and the Cayman Islands turtle ashtray my dad used for years (thank God he stopped smoking!) It’s hard to believe you can pack more than 30 years of things in just about a week. Thanks to all the people who helped my mom pack, she surely couldn’t do it without you! I guess it’s really time for us to start making our own memories for our future family.

Philadelphia 2009

At the end of January, we travelled to Philadelphia to celebrate the wedding of our friends Rachel and Dan. Though the Eagles had been eliminated from their chance at the Super Bowl, the week before, we couldn't resist the opportunity to tour the field. The link below shows our tour of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, our tour of Lincoln Financial Stadium, including the Eagles locker room and the KPMG Suite and a few pictures from the wedding. Enjoy!

Ultrasound results (with pics!)

So we had the 20 week ultrasound today with pics to go along. I'll start off by letting everyone know that both Mom and baby are happy and healthy as can be (except Cathy has a bit of a cold). Second, I'll cut to the chase and let everyone know that the third soon to be Silver will be a baby boy! Everyone is very excited! To try and explain the pics, the first is a pic of the heart which was beating at 133 bpm (avg is between 120-160). Second is a picture of its spine. Although it looks curved, he was just in a weird position at the time. Third and Fourths are profile pics and the last pic is the nurse's attempt to prove its a boy. i believe the two items between the words "Boy" are his legs.
