We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo.

Our membership expired at the end of July, so we made one last trip

The lion at the entrance/exit.  Remember this one from last year?  I was pregnant, but not telling anyone yet.

In the parking lot, we decided Caitlyn didn't need the carrier attachment for the stroller.  That's right, she's riding like a big girl!

I think this picture is funny because it shows just how much I have to work on learning to use this camera.  I'm really trying to capture Josh covering Jared's eyes while on his shoulders.  Instead, some random guy is wondering, what's the big deal with me taking a drink!

True to habit, we found a new spot to discover, the children's zoo.  Which is basically farm animals (cows, pigs, goats, horses).  Josh wouldn't have anything to do with petting the goat with his hands, but really enjoyed brushing the goat's hair.

We invited Josh's friend Preston and his family along.  However, this is the only picture I got of the two of them together :(

Faces

Josh has been hamming it up for the camera lately.  So, then he asked Jared to make the same faces, and he took pictures with his camera!

The Angry Face

 The sad face

I don't know what this one is

I think it is supposed to be surprised

A few others

Happy

I think these are supposed to be the same too!  Update, I'm told this is the fish face, so the one above, must be Josh practicing it

More Sitting

More Sitting

Caitlyn likes to sit at her walker and play...all too soon she'll be able to pull herself up and walk on this.

Sitting!

It's official.  Caitlyn is sitting up.  We caught a video (up later this week) of her sitting up for more than a minute on her own.  It helps to have something in front of her, but she can really do it on her own.  Until the toy falls out of her reach and then she falls over.

see, they really are playing well together.  Josh, showing Caitlyn how to make a phone call?  Want them to call you?  Send me a message, and we'll call you back!

Caitlyn: What are you guys doing?! You are crazy!

Bath

Cailtyn is closer to sitting up every day, so I am trying to encourage it, by having her do it more often! Plus, since she is starting to eat real food, she is a MESS!  She needs a bath almost every day.

I asked Josh kind of jokingly if he wanted Caitlyn to take a bath with him, and he said yes, pretty excitedly!

Remember what Josh looked like when he was about the same age as Caitlyn?  (just a few weeks older)
