 Before leaving for the indoor safari play land, we got Josh to try on this old school Eagles helmet...Jared's head is a bit too big

 He was really excited for this train ride, until he he had to share the car with other kids

we travelled to Dallas for the Mary Kay seminar and dropped Josh off with Mimi, Papa Ben and Aunt Jodi for a few days.  He looks ready for piano lessons!

In other news, he's just chillin' by the pool

What's for lunch?

Josh will eat peanut butter and jelly if it is cut into shapes...we found the car and caboose today in the big box of 100 cutters, so we made a whole train. (he ate a sandwich and a half!)

Arlington lanes has $1 games on Friday nights...Madden's family invited us to join them.  did you know if you go at 5pm, you get almost the whole alley to yourself!

 and his favorite subject, Madden, who's face was much more centered than at the farmers market.  I think the fuzziness is just Josh learning to hold the camera still after he pushes the button...

Reading

Josh found a good spot to read. We were at the tree house to pass the time/stay out of the heat during the power outage.  After all that running around, Josh found the bookshelf and one by one brought books over to sit on the step stool and read. Not once did he notice he was in front of the Ice cream.

Colin had his 2nd birthday party at the Spray and Play.  It was a very hot and humid day, perfect for playing in the water!
