Robotics

Sara was in town because the Robotics team she mentors in California was in St. Louis for the national competition.  However Josh was much more enthralled with the school mascots.  At least it should be pretty good practice for when we go to Walt Disney World at the end of May.

 We then decided to check out the St. Louis Science Center.  With Free admission, it was a great place to spend a few hours exploring.

 They had this wonderful section for kids 3-7.

Jared was so proud that he had set up the dominoes to spell out JOSH.  However Josh came by and swiped at them before Jared could tell if they would fall cascading.

Yesterday was a busy day!

We trimmed up some trees, Jared climbed a tree, and Mimi read the kids a story!

Josh was so enthralled with the Clifford story Mimi was reading on the computer.  Cailtyn looked more enthralled with Josh!

Caitlyn 3 month stats

height: 22 3/4 inches = 25%, grew 1/4 inch
weight 11 pounds 7 ounces 25-50%, put on 8 ounces
Head: 15 1/2 inches 25% head grew 1/4 inch

I'm declaring it...

..Caitlyn is sleeping thru the night!  For more than a week now, asleep between 7 and 8 and wakes between 7 and 730.  Also sucks her left thumb.  Not as happy for that habit though.  Plus she is talking even more.  And still smiling SO MUCH!

Caitlyn update

Caitlyn has been doing a lot of fun things lately, that I realized I need to document it quickly.  Stay tuned next week, we'll have 3 month doctors office stats to report as well.

• smiling. she will almost always smile back at you when you smile at her, and she's great me after nap or in the morning with a smile
• blowing raspberries
• Cooing

you can see those in the second video

• rolling from her belly to her back, I think she's just losing her balance, but perhaps that counts anyway
• when she is on her back, she holds her neck up very high and is no longer uncomfortable doing so for about 15 minutes.
• scooting herself in her crib...if you put her in the middle of the crib for nap, she often wakes up closer to the side of the crib
• grabbing toys above her (see the last pic) because 
• she's found her hands!  See the  1st video

Egg Hunt #2

Natassha's family invited us over for brunch for Easter...little did we know, that there would also be an  egg hunt!!! Not to worry, Josh has had practice.

 Josh found just about as many egg as the big kids, but way more money!
