Winter Break Trip to Chicago

We flew out to Chicago on Christmas day

 Hung out at Sara's house

 visited with the Isert side of the family

 When we were back, the kids had some fun painting

We took a trip downtown.  First stop was the train museum at Grand Central

 Ice Skating at Rockefeller Center...someone actually got engaged on the ice a few minutes later!

Another Day Downtown

We found ourselves with almost nothing to do, and a 50 degree day in the winter, so we took the train downtown.  We visited Adam at the Union Square Holiday Market, and then took the Subway around town.

We also took the tram to Roosevelt Island.  Three different types of public train-type travel all in one day!

 We tried to go to Serendipity for ice cream but had a 90 minute wait, so we'll have to try another time.  Instead we were crazy tourists and went to FAO Scwartz on a busy Sunday in Holiday Season.

Of course, we had to visit the Big Piano
