I think there's a middle ground between "no TV" and "on all the time." Especially with TiVo! We always have the TV off during the day (unless Peter's watching his 15 minute Elmo video), but it's nice to watch a show or two after the kids go to bed and we're too exhausted to, say, spell a word and play Scrabble.
That said, now that we're on the East Coast again Kevin's been watching more Phillies and Eagles, which drives me BONKERS. I'll leave the room if he's just has a game on because it's distracting from other things.
